Logistics and Shipping Policy for iStone

1. Introduction

This Logistics and Shipping Policy governs the transportation of the products sold through iStone. By using our platform, buyers and sellers agree to comply with these terms. iStone acts as a facilitator and is not liable for shipping issues unless directly at fault.

2. Shipping Method Options

Sellers may select from the following carrier options (subject to availability and buyer’s location):

  • Standard Shipping: For domestic orders, we partner with trusted local carriers (e.g., SF Express, JD Logistics). Estimated delivery: 3–7 business days. For international orders, carriers like China Post or ePacket are used, with delivery typically 10–21 business days.
  • Expedited Shipping: Available for an extra fee (negotiated between buyer and seller). Carriers include DHL, FedEx, or UPS, offering 1–3 business days (domestic) or 5–10 business days (international).

Note: Shipping method must be confirmed by both parties before order finalization.

3. Packaging Requirements (Mandatory)

To protect your graphics card, sellers must follow these guidelines:

  • Box Strength: Use a rigid, double-walled corrugated cardboard box (minimum 3mm thickness) rated to hold at least twice the Product’s weight. Damaged or flimsy boxes are unacceptable.
  • Buffering: Secure the card with bubble wrap or foam inserts to prevent movement. Fill all empty spaces to eliminate shifting.
  • Sealing: Close with heavy-duty packing tape (no duct/masking tape).
  • Labeling: Clearly mark “FRAGILE – ELECTRONIC EQUIPMENT” in bold. Include the correct buyer address (no handwritten labels).
  • Prohibitions: Never use plastic bags, loose packing, or expose the Product to extreme heat/cold/moisture.

Sellers who fail to meet these standards assume full liability for transit damage.

4. Delivery Timeframes

  • Domestic: Carriers will attempt delivery within their estimated window. Delays due to weather, holidays, or carrier issues are not iStone’s responsibility.
  • International: Additional 5–15 business days may apply for customs clearance. Buyers must provide accurate import docs (e.g., commercial invoice) if required by their country.

5. Shipping Costs & Responsibility

  • Buyer-Paid: Unless stated otherwise, buyers cover standard shipping fees. Expedited costs are split via platform messaging (seller/buyer agreement).
  • Seller-Paid: If a seller advertises “free shipping,” they absorb all costs.
  • Refunds for Errors: If a seller mislabels the package or provides an incorrect address, return shipping fees due to such errors are the seller’s responsibility.

6. Insurance & Liability

  • Recommended Insurance: Given the value of high-end GPUs, iStone strongly advises sellers to purchase carrier insurance covering loss, theft, or damage. Claims must be filed directly with the carrier by the seller.
  • Damage Liability:
    • Buyers must report visible/functional damage within 24 hours of delivery and provide photos.
    • If damage is confirmed and packaging met policy, sellers must replace the Product or refund.
    • No compensation for damage from poor packaging, buyer’s failure to inspect, or normal wear (e.g., minor scuffs).

7. Return & Exchange Logistics

  • Initiation: Buyers may request returns for defective/misrepresented Products per iStone’s Return Policy. Sellers arrange a prepaid return label (unless the buyer caused the issue).
  • Repackaging: Returned Products must use original packaging (if available) or new packaging meeting Section 3 standards.
  • Processing: Once received and inspected, sellers will refund/replace within 5 business days.

8. Special Region Notes

  • Remote Areas: Extra fees may apply for rural/island locations. Sellers will notify buyers before shipment.
  • Restricted Regions: Shipments to conflict zones, embargoed countries, or unstable logistics areas are prohibited. Buyers in such regions will be informed pre-order.

9. Dispute Resolution

Shipping disputes (e.g., lost packages) must first be addressed via iStone’s in-platform messaging. Unresolved issues will be mediated by iStone’s customer support team.
